SAMAEL Confirmed For Germany's WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN Festival

March 1, 2006

Switzerland's SAMAEL have been confirmed for this year's German gothic music festival Wave Gotik Treffen, set to take place June 2-5 in Leipzig. The band will also play some other selected festivals this summer. More information will be made available soon.

In other news, two songs from "Era One" — the project featuring SAMAEL's Vorph and Xy — have been posted online at Samael.tv. Download the tracks "Universal Soul" and "Night Ride" at this location.

Released in Europe at the end of January, "Era One" consists of 10 tracks of electronic music composed and performed by Xy with lyrics and vocals by Vorph. It was originally recorded and delivered to Century Media in the summer of 2002 but was re-arranged and remixed in the fall of 2005. The album comes as a 19-track double CD, consisting of the "Era One" and "Lesson in Magic #1" discs.
